In the spring of 2014, I was commissioned by Chevron Corporation to produce a mural depicting the history of oil production in the Permian Basin. It was to be done in the style of the Post Office Murals of the 30s. The mural was installed in the spring of 2016. The creative process was challenging and exhilarating, and I had a couple of melt-downs. The whole thing (except for the melt-downs) was documented by Larry Ray Causey II, who won the platinum award for Arts and Culture at the 50th annual Worldfest Filmfestival in Houston, Texas for his efforts.

The mural is in the lobby of the Chevron Midcontinent Headquarters in Midland, Texas, which is not open to the public. This 25 minute video tells the story. I hope you will enjoy it.
